Best Dressed: SAG Awards 2015

Last night took place the 2015 edition of the SAG Awards that recognizes outstanding performances both in movies and prime time television. The red carpet was a catwalk again as actresses paraded in their designer dresses. The female celebrities wore gowns by Giorgio Armani, Donna Karan and Dior.As you know, i'm only going to show you the ones that were best dressed. My favorites were Emma Stone and Claire Danes.

Julianne Moore is the most talked about actress this year and she even won the award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role at the SAG Awards. She also won on the red carpet because she looked like a mermaid in this stunning green Givenchy Haute Couture dress.

Actress Emma Stone wore a black blazer dress by Dior Haute Couture with Repossi jewels and Christian Louboutin sandals. This type of dress is a huge trend right now and i love the way the french fashion house reinvented it.

Another Givenchy look was worn by Julia Roberts and consisted in black custom jumpsuit.I'm really not fond of the shoes she is wearing and that awful bracelet, but because her best accessory is her smile i think she deserves to be on the best dressed list.

No one looks as radiant as Lupita Nyong'o on the red carpet and she proves it once again in this colorful striped Elie Saab gown.

Simple, yet sophisticated, actress Naomi Watts wore a Balenciaga dress that was perfectly accessorized with bracelets and a clutch.

In a white Giorgio Armani gown and wearing Harry Winston jewels, Reese Witherspoon looked like an angel on the red carpet.

Gone Girl actress, Rosamund Pike really knows how to strike a pose in this Dior Haute Couture dress and Fred Leighton jewels.

Jennifer Aniston's style is usually very predictable but she surprised us this time by wearing a John Galliano vintage dress with Fred Leighton jewels.

Matthew McConaughey's wife, model Camila Alves wore a beautiful purple Donna Karan Atelier dress with Martin Katz jewels.

Sometimes Claire Danes can be boring on the red carpet and sometimes she looks just amazing.Last night was a good one for her because she looked beautiful in this green Marc Jacobs dress.

Like Reese Witherspoon, Viola Davis chose to wear white in this MaxMara dress with Van Cleef&Arpels jewels.

My first impression when i saw Felicity Jones on the red carpet was that she looked just like a debutant from the 50's.She was pretty and full of grace in this Balenciaga pink gown with Van Cleef&Arpels jewels.

Another white look can be seen on actress Maggie Gyllenhaal that wore a dress from Thakoon and Fred Leighton jewels.

Always a goddess on the red carpet, Sofia Vergara looked stunning in a red Donna Karan Atelier dress. She completed her look with a very handsome man on her shoulder.

Donna Karan Atelier strikes again with this dress worn by Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke.

Natalie Dormer, known for Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games, wore a floral gown by Naeem Khan with Kimberly McDonals jewels.

Gwendoline Christie wore a beautiful Giles gown and although i don't really like how it goes with that platinum short hair, i believe the dress should recieve the attention it needs.

Wearing a Armani Prive gown and Cartier jewels, Emmy Rossum looked like one elegant princess.

Amanda Peet looked like she was floating in this J.Mendel gorgeous gown.

Sarah Paulson did no wrong in this black and white Giorgio Armani gown.

Eventhough she wore a great Vivienne Westwood dress it seemed that it didn't fit her quite right.Sophia Bush still looked pretty good though.

Julianna Margulies wore a simple blue dress from Giambattista Valli's 2014 spring couture collection.
