A new feud between Elton John and the designers of Dolce&Gabbana is taking over media and is creating controversy.Apparently, Elton John is extremely mad about the fact that Stefano and Domenico labelled children born through IVF as being "synthetic" and disagree with marriages between persons of the same sex.
First of all, there is absolutely no secret that the three persons involved in the scandal are gay.The fact that Stefano and Domenico have a different theory than most gay people about how a family should be like is nobody's bussines.Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and the only thing they did was to express theirs.People who follow their career know that they love the whole concept of family because they always promote it and i admire them for that.Even their latest collection for Fall 2015 was dedicated to the one person in the entire world who is responsible for our existence: the mother!

The thing that bothered Elton John the most was the use of the word "synthetic" when describing children born through fertility treatments because his own children were born by the same surrogate mother.The only problem about it is that Domenico and Stefano didn't reffer to the singer's children in particular and they didn't disrespect them in any way.I believe that the word wasn't meant to cause that much trouble and it was inoffensive.Your children, Mr. John, are very beautiful and is such a great opportunity for them to have someone to take care of them.Nobody argues with that.But let's be honest though.It's after all an artificial way in medicine of having children either if you like it or not.Why choose to have babies this way when there are so many abandoned children waiting to be adopted?

Finally, the last issue i have about this whole misunderstanding is that Elton John actually wants to boycott the italian fashion brand because the two designers "dared" to share their personal idea about family and marriage.Last time i checked there was nothing wrong with sustaining the concept of a natural, healthy and normal family.He even said that he will not wear clothes from Dolce&Gabbana anymore and wants to make other people stop shopping from them too.I don't understand why their brand should be involved in this matter.He even said that their collections are "out of step with the times".I dare to disagree since Elton John is not known for his taste in fashion but for his music.I bet Stefano and Domenico respect you as an artist, so why can't you admire their talent in fashion?Plus the fact that he asks people to boycott them just because his opinion is not shared by the designers is disrespectful for everyone.Learn to see beyond you personal beliefs and not to get involved in other people's way of thinking.If it would've been a personal attack against you, the situation would be understandable.I don't think you appreciated other people's judgemental thoughts about your sexual orientation just because you didn't share the same idea about love, so why not accept what they said without feeling it's about you?We all apreciate you as an artist, but everything has a limit especially when you try to ruin someone's career.The only one that is being harmful in this whole matter is Elton John because this is not the right way to treat this issue.
